Privacy Notice

PixPitch is an independent online reputation, PR and community studio based in New Delhi, India. For personal data collected through pixpitch.com, PixPitch is the Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act). That means we decide why and how your personal data is processed, and we are responsible for it.

Privacy contact: For anything in this notice, or to exercise any of your rights, write to privacy@pixpitch.com. You can also reach us through the contact form on this site.

Contact enquiries: When you write to us through the contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number and your message. We use it only to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to manage that relationship.

Job applications: When you apply for a role, we collect your name, email address, phone number, resume and the answers you give in the application. We use it only to evaluate your application and to contact you about it.

Newsletter subscription: When you subscribe to PixWire, we collect your email address. We use it only to send you the newsletter you signed up for. Every email carries an unsubscribe link.

Admin accounts: Team members with admin access have an account with an email address and sign-in credentials, used only to operate this site.

Plausible Analytics: We measure website traffic with Plausible Analytics, which is cookieless by design. It does not set tracking cookies, does not collect personally identifiable information, and reports aggregate visit data only.

Google reCAPTCHA: Our contact, careers and newsletter forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA to prevent spam and abuse. reCAPTCHA sets its own cookies and is governed by the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and Terms of Service (https://policies.google.com/terms).

By submitting a form on this site, you give us consent to use the personal data you provide for the purpose described at the point of collection, and only for that purpose. Consent is free, specific, informed and unambiguous, and it is recorded with a timestamp so we can demonstrate it later.

Withdrawing consent: You can withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, by writing to privacy@pixpitch.com or using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we lawfully did before you withdrew.

Access: You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, how we are using it, and who we have shared it with.

Correction and erasure: You can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data, or to erase your data. We will erase it unless we are required by law to keep it, for example financial records kept for tax compliance.

Grievance redressal: If you have a concern about how we handle your data, write to privacy@pixpitch.com and we will respond within the timeframe required by law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

Nomination: You may nominate a person to exercise your rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity.

Contact enquiries: Kept while the enquiry is active and for a limited period afterwards, then deleted.

Job applications: Kept while the role is open and your application is under consideration, then deleted unless you ask us to keep in touch or a law requires retention.

Newsletter subscriptions: Kept until you unsubscribe. When you unsubscribe, your address is removed from the active list.

Financial records: Invoices and related records are archived for the minimum period required by Indian tax and accounting law.

Access control: Personal data is accessible only to team members who need it for the purpose it was collected, through authenticated admin accounts.

Technical safeguards: Data is stored on encrypted, access-controlled infrastructure. Form submissions are protected against spam and abuse, and administrative actions on personal data are logged.

Breach readiness: If a personal data breach occurs, we will inform affected individuals and the Data Protection Board of India as required by the DPDP Act and its rules.

No sale of data: We do not sell, trade, lease or monetize personal data to anyone, under any circumstances.

Service providers: We use a small number of trusted providers to run this site and deliver email, including our hosting and database provider and our email delivery service. They process data only on our instructions and under their own data protection obligations.

Legal disclosures: We may disclose information if required by a valid legal order or government directive under the laws of India.

This site and our services are directed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data of children under 18. If you believe a child has submitted personal data to us, write to privacy@pixpitch.com and we will delete it.

This notice is governed by the laws of India, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and the rules made under it. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Delhi.

We may update this notice to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The effective date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be flagged on this page.
